Plante and Moran wanted a way to say thanks for the effort to those people at a banquet that worked hard on different initiatives, but in the end the initiative did not work out.
We suggested using Charley Chaplin as a mascot and letting his awkward history tell the story that we appreciate your efforts though not every effort is successful . We called it the Dubious Achievement Award.
It's a double casted Lucite block with a white back side and clear front. In the Lucite sits the images you see. It may be a dubious achievement, but it was an award that went over big time.
